As the investigation showed, Palevski was driven from Skopje to Serbia by his lawyer in a Skoda, and left at the hotel.

From there, the next day, another person from Skopje drove him to Bulgaria in a Range Rover, which they entered through the Gradina border crossing.

From there the person took him to Turkey, North Macedonia Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski told a press conference.

"In Turkey, he goes to the city of Balikesir and our services from the Department of International Police Cooperation get in touch with their operational source, who in a very short time gave feedback that the person was in Balikesir," he said.
