Electricity will be provided alternately in Ye as they cannot buy enough diesel, according to the residents of Ye.

A resident of Ye town said that Myat Thura Company, which provides electricity to Ye town, has informed them that they will provide electricity from 7:30 am to 11 am and from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm starting from November 3.

He continued, "They announced that they will provide electricity if they can buy diesel. I don't even dare to use anything because I'm afraid that the electricity bill will go up."

According to the residents of Ye, the electricity bill in Ye town is currently 1,600 kyats per unit.

Since December 1, fuel prices in Mon State have jumped by more than 300 kyats per litre, and on December 5, it is reported that diesel cannot be purchased at fuel stations in Mon State.
