Deal | Google Pixel 7 Pro with 512GB of storage gets steepest discount ever on Amazon
by Enrico Frahn · NotebookcheckAlthough the Pixel 8 Pro is all the rage these days, smartphone buyers who take a lot of photos and 4K videos and therefore need 512GB of integrated mass storage will have to pay a hefty premium in order to get their hands on Google's latest flagship. Fortunately, Amazon has a better deal for those storage-hungry users who would consider last year's Pixel 7 Pro.
This particular smartphone sale is available at Amazon, which is where all three color variants of the Google Pixel 7 Pro are currently discounted by up to 47 percent depending on the storage configuration. For instance, the aforementioned 512GB model is now on sale for $679, which constitutes an enormous 38 percent discount relative to the original list price. Alternatively, the 256GB version of the Pixel 7 Pro can be ordered for $579 thanks to a substantial $420 markdown. Strangely enough, only the white entry-level SKU of Google's smartphone has received a similar discount and is on sale for $479.
Before ordering, please check out our in-depth review of the Pixel 7 Pro, which earned a lot of praise for its bright and colorful 120Hz OLED display and the impressive triple camera setup. We also like the smartphone's extensive update guarantee, even though the latest iteration will be supported for even longer. There has been some slight criticism regarding the Google Tensor G2 SoC, which throttles under sustained load and cannot hold up with Qualcomm's widely used high-end Snapdragon processors. Nonetheless, with such a massive discount on Amazon, this deal is a great buying opportunity for tech enthusiasts who desperately need more storage space than the usual non-expendable 128GB.
