It has finally been confirmed. For the third year running, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck will be stopping off in Wolverhampton this week.

The arrival of the 14-tonne red lorry is decorated with fairy lights often signals the start of the festive season for many. The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck is visiting seventeen towns and cities in the run up to December 25.

It has already visited the likes of Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh so far this year. For the last two years, the most local destination has been Wolverhampton - but that wasn't without a "last-minute technical hitch" in 2021.

They certainly didn't give us any notice this year! On Wednesday morning, Coca-Cola confirmed their Christmas Truck Tour would make a stop off in Wolverhampton for the day on Thursday, December 7.

Where can you find the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck?

If you're heading to see the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck, you'll find it in the same location as the past two years. It will be parked up at the city's Market Square in the city centre. The postcode is WV3 0NL.

What time will the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck be in Wolverhampton?

Working tomorrow? Want to take your children but they're at school? Have no fear.

The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck will be in Wolverhampton for a total of eight hours! Coca-Cola confirmed the Truck should arrive at 12pm.

But it is also due to stay in the city until 8pm. We can't wait to see it all lit up as it gets darker!

Where is the nearest place to park?

There's plenty of parking in Wolverhampton city centre that is in walking distance to Market Square! The nearest is probably the Market car park off Peel Street, where there's 60 spaces. It costs 50p for two hours and £1 for four hours.

There's a second car park off Peel Street, where there's 138 spaces to park. Again, it is 50p for two hours and £1 for four hours.

Not too far away, there's also 190 spaces in School Street, where the prices are the exact same. You can also park at Church Street, where it costs £1.45 for an hour, or £2.90 for two hours.

The Mander Centre's multi-storey car park is less than a 10 minute walk away and there's 500 parking spaces. It is £1 for an hour, £2 for two, £2.50 for three and £3 for four.

What happens at the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour?

As well as obviously seeing the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck from the TV, there's also other activities in Wolverhampton for the special visit. Guests will be welcomed by a walk-in, snow-filled bauble, inviting families to step into a winter wonderland for the perfect holiday photograph.

You can also make a stop at the Ho-Ho-Hoop hut and participate in a game for the chance to win a selection of prizes including meal-inspired rewards and recycled Christmas tree decorations. Families can finish off the tour by posing for a photo opportunity in front of the iconic Coca-Cola truck. Visitors are welcome to listen to the Coca-Cola Christmas choir as they perform a set of carols.

The experience will also lead guests to the 'Discover Your Inner Santa' quiz, inspired by this year’s brand new The World Needs More Santas advert, inviting visitors to take the quiz and unlock their unique Santa personality to embrace and embody.
