Niger Speaker pledges to partner with NSUBEB to enhance qualify of basic education
by Priscilla Dennis · Daily PostThe Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Muhammad Sarkin Daji, has expressed the desire and commitment of the House to partner with the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) to enhance the quality of basic education for children in the state.
The Speaker stated this during a familiarisation visit to the Executive Chairman of NSUBEB in Minna.
He pledged that members of the house will continue to legislate on laws that will assist in improving the standard of basic education in the state.
Barr Sarkin Daji also congratulated the Executive Chairman and Members of the Board for their appointments while wishing them success in discharging their responsibilities.
He stated, “I urge you to justify your appointment by bringing your wealth of wisdom and experience for the development of the educational sub-sector of the state by introducing the best standard educational policies and programmes.”
Earlier, the Executive Chairman of NSUBEB, Mallam Mohammed Baba Ibrahim, thanked the speaker for the visit while assuring that members of the present board will not disappoint Nigerlites.
