Past and present cast members of The Crown gathered to mark a special final premiere on Tuesday night – including Elizabeth Debicki and Emma Corrin, who of course have both given memorable performances as Princess Diana on the show.

Since the final episodes of The Crown will soon air on Netflix, the event at the Royal Festive Hall in London saw the first showing of the final episode – as well as an orchestra-accompanied montage of the previous five seasons. Emosh.

No doubt the cast were feeling pretty nostalgic. In a particularly adorable moment, Emma and Elizabeth bumped into each other on the red carpet. The pair shared an ultra-warm hug and appeared to admire each other's outfits – both of which looked to be Diana-inspired – before posing for photos together with the cast.

Speaking of lewks, Elizabeth chose a glittering Christian Dior couture gown which gave serious regal vibes, while Emma appeared to channel one of Princess Diana's iconic tuxedo looks in custom Miu Miu.

Other previous cast members who arrived at the premiere included Gillian Anderson, Greg Wise and Erin Doherty – while season six stars including Imelda Staunton, Meg Bellamy and Ed McVey were also in attendance.

Emma Corrin played Princess Diana for just one season of the hit show, and previously spoke about how happy they were to see Elizabeth Debicki take on the role after them.

"I think Elizabeth is brilliant and I think that it’s totally right to allow her to take on a different kind of life for the next part of [Diana’s] journey,” they told The Wrap following Elizabeth's casting. “So I’ll be really excited to see what happens.”

It looks like the two actors have become firm friends following their respective The Crown successes – and we love to see it.

The final episodes of The Crown will air on Netflix on 14 December.
