Julia Roberts Plays With Texture in Broderie Anglaise Suit by Erdem and Chopard Jewelry on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

Julia Roberts appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday night wearing a tailored black jacket with broderie anglaise and eyelet details and a matching skirt from Erdem. She coordinated her ensemble with pointy-toe black stiletto pumps. She completed the ensemble with a statement necklace from Chopard.

Roberts’ look was from Erdem’s pre-spring 2024 collection, which the brand described as an homage to the late Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire. The duchess was a writer, socialite and one of the last surviving of the six Mitford sisters. The sisters were known for their controversial lives and for their public political divisions between Communism and Fascism. Throughout the 1930s and 1940s, the Mitford sisters were prominent members of British society.

The Oscar-winning actress became a brand “ambassadress” for Chopard in 2021. Last spring she appeared in a campaign directed by James Gray. Photos of Roberts featured her wearing pieces from the Haute Joaillerie collection, including a 100-carat yellow cushion diamond and 18-karat white gold and diamond earrings.

To create her look for her appearance on “The Tonight Show,” Roberts worked with stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who also works with Cate Blanchett, Viola Davis and Amanda Seyfried.

During her segment Roberts discussed how two of her three children are now in college, how she took her family to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and her new film, “Leave the World Behind.”

The film tells the story of a family on vacation on Long Island who are interrupted by two strangers bearing news of a blackout. As the threat grows, both families must decide how best to survive the potential crisis, all while grappling with their own place in a collapsing world.

In addition to Roberts, the film stars Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali and Kevin Bacon.
