Aldi has released a new almond-scented bath and body range as part of its latest string of Specialbuys. The grocer has released a shower oil, body cream and a body scrub, with prices starting from £5.

The Lacura range is described as: 'Infused with almonds, this skincare range is luxurious treat for yourself or loved one'. The limited-edition collection has been released just before Christmas, and is already flying off the shelves.

Having only been released around a week ago, it's already hard to find in stores and isn't being sold online. Aldi's latest body care range is a dupe for luxury brand L’Occitane, which is famed for its shower oil and hand creams.

However, as you can imagine the prices are a lot more expensive than the Aldi line. The shower oil alone will set you back 319.50 for a 250ml glass bottle.

The product description reads: "For hydration that lasts longer, try this almond-infused in shower body oil. Thanks to its unique formula and almond oil-rich composition, this shower oil will keep your skin nourished all day long."

The almond body cream costs £44, and is enriched with almond milk and sweet almond oil. The product description claims it "delivers long-lasting hydration, improves suppleness, and visibly firms the skin."

You can buy L’Occitane products in-store, directly from its website or from M&S - where it's sold online and in store in the beauty department.

People have been talking about the new Aldi range on Facebook, one shopper said: "The shower oil is actually really good! Tried it this evening but a little goes a LONG way trust me I had to rinse for ages."

And a second said: "I got them and showed oil is very similar to L'occitane. Body butter not that much but shower oil is amazing." And a third said: "I've tried these products they're not bad for the money."

Some shoppers say they are struggling to find it in their local stores, and have been tagging friends and family to see if they are able to find them in theirs. One follower commented: "Do you remember seeing any of this!! Like where was all the stuff."

Some savvy shoppers are selling the entire range online. We spotted this post on eBay, where the seller is asking for £20 for the Aldi range.
