Mujeeb Ur Rahman has set a base price of Rs. 2 crore in IPL 2024 auction. Although he has remained unsold in the last two auctions, he might find a franchise this time. IPL 2024 auction will take place on December 19 in Dubai.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman has played in the tournament from IPL 2018 to 2021. In his last season in 2021, he was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Before that, the Afghan spinner played for the Punjab Kings franchise.

Rahman is a regular player for the Afghanistan team and played in the ICC World Cup 2023. The right-arm spinner has hunted 19 wickets in 19 games at an economy of 8.18.
