After arresting Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty in the alleged drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the actress has been summoned by the NCB tomorrow for questioning. In the chat records handed over to the NCB by the Enforcement Directorate, she was seen talking about banned narcotics. Showik had also reportedly confessed to the NCB that Rhea was indeed involved in procuring the drugs for Sushant. Whether she too will be taken into custody remains to be seen.

However, Satish Maneshinde, who is representing Showik, is opposing the NCB remand as no seizures have been made during the raids. So going by the NDPS acts, remand of 6-days cannot be approved by the court.

Currently, some heated arguments are going on inside the court. The court is also going through the case papers, the recoveries being made, the drug cartels and other things. Earlier today, Showik and Samuel were taken to a hospital for their medical check-up.
