I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! took an awkward turn on Tuesday night as Fred Sirieix was told to "chill" as he insisted on taking part in his second trial in two days alongside Marvin Humes.

Campmates had to decide amongst themselves who took part in Fly On The Wall and Marvin, 38, got a vote of approval from everyone as he had yet to do one. Fred, 51, then said: "I’ll go with Marvin, just because why not. I’m ready to go."

Sam Thompson also volunteered, saying: "I’m happy to go as well. Happy to do it and you know, want to bring some stars back for the team." However, Fred replied: "Don’t worry, I’m going. You can carry on playing with your toys, we’ll do the men’s stuff. I’m going with Marvin, I’ve already decided."

Sam then said in the Bush Telegraph: "I hope he doesn’t think that I just want to stay in camp. I really, really want to help. I also don’t want to argue about it. I don’t have a backbone. I’m not going to sit there and say, 'No I want to do it.'"

Yet Fred's demand didn't go down well with the rest of the campmates as Josie Gibson said: "We've got to vote!" to which Fred insisted: "I'm as game as it comes!" with Tony Bellew pointing out: "Let everyone decide Fred, chill!"

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Fred said: "It was quite clear to me they didn’t want to partake in this Trial. In fact Sam is more interested to play with his toys in the camp today."

Nick Pickard said in camp of Fred: "He likes putting himself forward" while Danielle Harold added: "He’s very forceful once he’s decided." Nick continued: "I’ve got no problem with Fred going at all, but I don’t think he even took it to the vote, he was going no matter what."

Once in the jungle clearing, hosts Ant and Dec explained that the pair of them would start by standing on ledges either side of wall. They had to collect half stars once inside a numbered area and then meet in the middle where they could get both pieces into a star bag. Only full stars counted.

Dressed as flies the pair then got started and Marvin said: "It’s so slippery boys, jeez!" They agreed to step one step at a time together. Both reached star one and collected both halves and went back to the hole in the centre of the wall.

However, Marvin then slipped again trying to get to star two and then Fred slipped off. They opted to skip star three and move onto four. Fred advised Marvin they needed to be “kissing the wall” and staying as close to it as possible.

During play, Fred dropped a half of a star into the water and near the end, Marvin fell again with just 20 seconds left on the clock. Dec said: "You’re going to have to really fly to get this one." They got it and at the end they both jumped in, receiving five out of a possible eight stars.

It comes as fans think they have spotted a secret "feud" in camp as Fred continues to clash with his campmates, especially over cooking. After he was put off cooking duties in camp with Tony and Josie instead in charge, Fred struggled with the change and annoyed the two new cooks by constantly issuing instructions.

On Friday's episode, Josie struggled with Fred hovering over her cooking and after serving the camp breakfast, it went down well. Marvin said: "I think this could be the cooking duo we never knew we needed!"

Nigel Farage said: "Yeah, b****y good guys, really b****y good" while Danielle added: "That is actually one of the best breakfasts." During everyone's positive feedback, the camera panned onto Fred's unimpressed face.

Viewers are now wondering if there is a secret feud in camp, explaining why everyone praised the breakfast in front of Fred. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "They’re all complimenting the breakfast saying it’s one of the best and Fred is FUMINGGGG #ImACeleb", a different account put: "lol people complimenting Josie’s breakfast, we know Fred is fuming #Imaceleb," while another added: "F**k me, they’re all rubbing it in Fred’s face with that ‘this is the best breakfast so far’. #ImACelebrity."

Elsewhere, one person said: "That’s the best breakfast” IN FRONT OF FRED!! LMFAOOO #ImACeleb", a different account put: "Ahh they are killing Fred “ best breakfast ever” #ImACeleb" while another added: "I think they're all saying how good it is and "the best rice ever" simply to wind Fred up #ImACeleb."
