A hungry motorist has turned heads by driving a vintage tractor around a McDonald's drive-thru to collect his meal.

The driver and a passenger, who perched on the back holding a dog, were spotted by a motorist at Chilwell Retail Park, near Long Eaton.

Hilary Davies, 52, spotted the strange sight as she drove past the retail park on Monday, August 31, Nottinghamshire Live reports.

Ms Davies, who works as a full-time carer, said: "When I stopped at the traffic lights I looked across and I thought, 'oh my god, I'm seeing things'.

“There was even a fella on the back holding a dog. I thought I must take a picture or my husband won’t believe me when I tell him what I’d seen.”
