Xiaomi will launch its new Mi TV Horizon Edition in India on September 7, and before its launch, the key specifications of the TVs have already been leaked. The leak came from Ishan Agarwal, and according to his report, the Horizon Edition will feature a 43-inch FHD TV running on the Android TV platform with Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI.

As mentioned above, the new TVs will come equipped with a 43-inch FHD display. Also, Xiaomi has introduced a new data saver feature in its TVs in the past, and for the new edition smart TVs, Xiaomi is retaining this feature.

Since the Mi TV Horizon editions will come equipped with Android, we can expect the TV to have built-in Chromecast, access to the Google Play Store, and various popular streaming services.

Xiaomi’s very own PatchWall too could come up with newly added features, but we can know more about that on September 7. The new TVs are expected to have 20W of sound output. As for its processor, it is expected to run on a Cortex A53 processor and will come with 1GB of RAM with 8GB of internal storage.

For connectivity options, the TV is expected to have 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, an Ethernet port, and 3.5mm port.

Although the features mentioned above may not appear to be extraordinary it could point out to the Chinese company’s desire to upgrade its TV lineup, and Xiaomi’s previous expansion of its line up would attest to this.

Xiaomi’s popularity in India could also play in favor of the company and could keep off its competitors for a while. However, that should never be the end line, and as such the company will try to upgrade its TV lineups with adding more features.

For the Indian market, the new Mi TV Horizon Edition will be priced at INR. 11700.
