Kanye West Has Spent Nearly $6 Million on His Presidential Campaign

According to reports, Kanye West has spent nearly $6 million on his campaign, with most of that paying consultants and fees. The finance report filed with the Federal Elections Committee showed Kanye loaned his campaign $6.7 million between July and August. The filing also described Ye as "self-employed/entrepreneur."The campaign's only other source of income came in the form of relatively small-dollar donations ranging between $200-$1,000. The campaign is $1.2 million in debt; much of which is owed to "Fortified Consulting" in Tempe, AZ.

In other "Kanye for President" news, it is reported that Ye will appear on the ballot in West Virginia. He is also slated to appear on the ballot in Iowa, Tennessee, Idaho, and Utah.
