At an event celebrating the 125th anniversary of Hindu College, Delhi University Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh highlighted the crucial role students will play in shaping the nation's future over the next 25 years. The vice-chancellor commended the commitment and hard work of students, emphasising their potential in contributing to the country's growth.

The occasion witnessed the unveiling of a commemorative postage stamp marking Hindu College's quasquicentennial celebrations. Union Minister of State for Communications, Devusinh Chauhan, along with DU VC Yogesh Singh and Hindu College Principal Anju Srivastava, revealed the stamp.

Minister Chauhan expressed that the stamp not only celebrates the institution's past but also signifies a commitment to a future marked by academic excellence and holistic development.

Principal Srivastava highlighted Hindu College's legacy as a beacon of education since its establishment in 1899. She emphasised the institution's continuous efforts in nurturing scholars and making significant contributions to academic and extracurricular domains.

The 125th-anniversary postage stamp, according to Srivastava, symbolises the institution's dedication to moulding young minds and contributing to the intellectual landscape of the nation.
