Lionel Messi has finally explained that defeats against Roma, Premier League champions Liverpool and Bayern Munich made him want to quit Barcelona.

The Argentine football star recently made a stunning U-turn on his career at Barcelona by accepting to stay until the end of his remaining one year contract.

While speaking with GOAL, Lionel Messi explained that his frustration started from the defeat the club suffered against Italian side Roma two years ago in the Champions League.
