Man charged after hate-motivated threats to community centre

One man has been charged with hate-motivated threats to a community centre following a concerning voicemail that was left in October.

On Oct. 29, the Islamic Centre of Calgary, located at 5615 14 Avenue S.W., reported a concerning message left on their voicemail, according to a police press release. A man made several threatening and Islamophobic comments before hanging up.
