However, the 28-year-old player is an experienced pacer in international cricket as well as IPL. He has represented Bangladesh since 2015. In 48 matches since IPL 2016, the Bangladesh speedster has clinched 47 wickets at 7.93 economy. Due to his experience, few teams would like to induct Rahman into their squad. However, they need more pacers in their squad to strengthen their bowling department as Bumrah is the only big name that they have.

MI has also released Jofra Archer and they need someone to replace him. Hence, Mustafizur Rahman could be a good option. With 17.75 crores, MI will be able to get Rahman in the auction.

2. Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders can also target Mustafizur Rahman in the IPL 2024 auction. KKR has released pacers like Lockie Ferguson, Shardul Thakur, Tim Southee, and Umesh Yadav. Now, they need strong pacers who can lead the pace attack. Hence, KKR can go after Rahman. The IPL 2014 champions have Rs. 32.70 crore left in the kitty. They can grab 12 more players into their squad.
1. Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giants can also target Mustafizur Rahman in the auction. LSG has quite a few pacers in their squad but most of them are domestic players.
