EA FC 24 TOTW 12: shock Chelsea omission as Arsenal and Newcastle stars headline

EA Sports has released the EA FC 24 TOTW 12 squad, which is now available in Ultimate Team Packs

The EA FC 24 TOTW 12 squad is now available in Ultimate Team, but it unfortunately won't be a release remembered for years to come.

TOTW releases have been pretty impressive over the last few weeks in EA FC 24, with overpowered players seemingly being released regularly v most recently a 91-rated Caroline Graham Hansen in TOTW 11. But, the EA FC 24 TOTW 12 squad may have put an end to that run, with not many usable players being released.

Lyon Women's Ada Hegerberg has received a 90-rated EA FC 24 TOTW 12 item, her first promo card since the in-game glitch that left her unusable for weeks. Stars from Arsenal, Real Madrid, Newcastle United and more also feature in the EA FC 24 TOTW 12 squad, but there's no Enzo Fernandez, despite the Chelsea star scoring twice in a 3-2 win.

The EA FC 24 TOTW 12 squad is available in Ultimate Team packs from now until Wednesday, December 13 at 5.59pm GMT / 12.59pm ET / 9.59am PT.

Hegerberg headlines the TOTW 12 squad as the highest-rated player, with the striker included after grabbing a hat trick for Norway Women. Many big names are included in TOTW 12, but none of them suit the meta, meaning they'll probably just be used as fodder for better SBCs in the future.

Bukayo Saka has managed to earn a spot in EA FC 24 TOTW 12 after scoring once in Arsenal's 2-1 win on the weekend, but with how the rest of the squad looks, you can't complain. TOTW 12 isn't short of big names with Kieran Trippier, Toni Kroos and Mats Hummels all included, but these items just don't suit the meta pacey meta in Ultimate Team, making them hard to use.

TOTW 12 will be joined by a new promo in-game on Friday, December 8, with leaks revealing the Dynasties promo will be released on Friday at6pm GMT/ 1pm ET / 10am PT.
