ITV I'm A Celebrity star says 'there's a lot at stake' as he addresses feud with campmate after exit
Viewers have voiced mixed reactions to Fred leaving
by Emma Grimshaw · BristolLiveFirst Dates star Fred Sirieix has become the third contestant to be voted off I'm A Celebrity. Despite being an initial fan favourite, his popularity plunged after several feuds in the jungle.
The 51-year-old clashed with Nigel Farage on Europe and immigration. He also had several heated debates with Bristol's Josie Gibson over her cooking skills. Viewers branded him rude after he compared her meal to " horror movie" and also moaned about other people's washing up.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving camp, Fred said: "My time in the jungle has been an amazing experience, I got to meet some wonderful people. It is like another life and here I am. I was living in the moment and not thinking about what was happening next. I found it quite easy because I really prepared myself."

Defending his actions with Josie, he said: "She's just making it up as she goes along. So I think there's a lot at stake with the food. And it's not just what you're cooking at the moment which of course is going to be good, because the produce is incredible, it is what you can do the next day with the leftovers of the bones."
On clashing with Nigel, he said: "It was great in camp because Nigel is a doer, we can work together, we can go and collect wood and water. But yeah, there is a side of Nigel Farage that I cannot connect with and I will never connect with him. He hasn't brought me around to his way of thinking, no."
Fred became the third person to leave the camp following Nella Rose's exit yesterday evening and Frankie Dettori was the first to be voted off. Two other stars had already left the show including Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent.
Taking to X, viewers were divided about his exit. One wrote: "Fred is an unrepentant bossy boots! Glad he’s out, but maybe less drama now!"
Another wrote: "A little surprised Fred went tonight but tbf he’s been insufferable the last few days - wasn’t even the cooking stuff, as annoying as that was, it was how he was forcing himself into the two trials. You could tell Tony was annoyed."
A third penned: "Kinda will miss the drama Fred brings with the food."
