Wack100 recalled his experiences growing up in a gang-infested neighborhood where Valley Swans and other gangs were active. His older brother was a revered figure in the area due to his affiliation with the Bloods. Wack100 spoke of the propagation of gang culture, attributing it to peer pressure from within families and communities, leading to a cycle of violence often beginning in adolescence. He also explained the origins of Piru, a faction of the Bloods that originated in Compton. He clarified that the origin of the word was tied to a specific street in Compton and became widespread as members moved to other cities. He shared his initiation into the gang at 12 years old, describing it as a rite of passage that symbolized acceptance into the group.
